Helping others is nothing new for Matthew Winnert and Tim Grathwohl, students at Ridgewood High School and parishioners at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Ridgewood, N.J.
For their Confirmation service program last year they provided supplies for our Fr. English Center.
When Covid-19 seriously impacted programs in New Jersey, they again reached out to help.
Contacting Catholic Charities, they got a list of the most needed food items and also school supplies for children for school. They circulated the list to friends, neighbors, their parish and local community.
On August 18, they arrived with their family and two vans filled with food and school supplies. They also presented a check for $770 which they had raised to help the Food Pantry.
We are helping more people than ever before in our history and this support is greatly appreciated. To donate, please visit www.ccpaterson.org/relief
