Thank you to the Raskob Foundation for Catholic Activities, who recently pledged a grant to purchase automated external defibrillators (AEDs) at all of programs at the Department for Persons with Disabilities (DPD)!
The Raskob Foundation is an independent, private family foundation. Founded in 1945, the Foundation is proud of its legacy of grant making and philanthropic activity in service to the Catholic Church and institutions and organizations identified with it. Currently, five generations of family members continue the vision established by its founders, John and Helena Raskob.
Each day, DPD provides help and creates hope for over 360 individuals who happen to have intellectual and developmental disabilities.
This is life-saving funding!
We look forward to purchasing, training our staff on how to use the devices and implementing them in all of our programs at DPD. We again thank the Raskob Foundation on behalf of our volunteers, employees, service recipients and their family members!
