Thank you to the Morris Catholic Student Council for their support of those in need.
Sharon Horvath, the Coordinator of our Hope House Food Pantry recently ran an activity in which seven Morris Catholic High School students shopped for those in need at Hope House.
The students were given detailed shopping lists and worked together to purchase needed items.
The groceries were purchased with ShopRite gift cards for a total of $630, that had been donated by the Student Council.
The Student Council donates the gift cards to us from the proceeds of designated student activities throughout the year.
"This first venture into shopping was a success, and we will be continuing the activity once each month until the end of the school year. We are so appreciative of the Morris Catholic Family for their continued support," said Mrs. Horvath.
Hope House recently moved to a new center on the Basset Highway in Dover. This new space allowed us to expand our food pantry to better help those in need. We are appreciative of Morris Catholic and all of the community groups who give back to us!
