On June 26th, the Straight and Narrow Family remembered Ken Harding, who passed away on Thursday, March 21st.
Ken was a kind, warm, caring man who was a Franciscan Friar for over 30 years. He completed a Master's Degree in Counseling at Merrimack College in North Andover Massachusetts. He worked for almost 40 years in the Drug and Alcohol treatment field and was a program director at Straight and Narrow's IDRC.
He had a passion for helping others and touched countless lives along the way. He was quick to lend a kind ear and open heart to those in need, and had a remarkable ability to put others at ease.
Dozens of family members, friends and former colleagues came out to memorialize Mr. Harding at Saint Mary’s Church in Passaic. Catholic Charities Board President Rev. Monsignor Herbert K. Tillyer was the Principal Celebrant and was joined by concelebrants Rev. Milton Camargo, Rev. Edward Reading, Rev. Charles Waller, Rev. Robert Wisniefski and Master of Ceremonies Rev. Msgr. William M. Naughton.
Ken's legacy will have a lasting impact at Straight and Narrow.
