Our Hope House Food Pantry in Dover provides help and creates hope for hundreds of individuals each month.
We are blessed to have volunteers who go the extra mile to help feed the hungry

Stocking the shelves on a recent Tuesday are (left to right) Mary, Suzan, Gerry, Lynn, and Joan. The Hope House Food Pantry distributes an average of 8,000 pounds of food each month.

(Below) The Food Pantry volunteers at Hope House in Dover assemble weekend food bags for the children at CFCS Friendship Corner II Early Learning Program in Paterson once each month from September through June. Mary and Joanne assembled the 135 bags for the month of January. The bags are transported to FCII and distributed to the children before they leave for home on a scheduled Friday afternoon. Each child receives a bag containing two breakfast items, two lunch items, two beverages, and two snacks. Also included are two items that can be used by the parent to prepare a meal for the family. The Hope House volunteers have been able to continue this project without interruption since 2011 because of the ongoing generous financial support of one of our many greatly appreciated Catholic Charities donors.
