.CARF provides accreditation services worldwide at the request of health and human service providers. From rehabilitation for a disability, treatment for addiction and substance abuse, home and community services, retirement living, or other health and human services, Providers that meet CARF's standards have demonstrated their commitment to being among the best available.
Straight and Narrow was very fortunate to have three surveyors that provided the agency with a professional objective assessment of our programs. Mike, Chris and Tonya all are caring, seasoned professionals who have a wealth of experiences. I believe that all of us that had any contact with them would agree with my assessment.
We had ecommendations for improvement, that we will address immediately. The feedback about each program was very positive, highlighting a caring dedicated staff that consistently strives to provide quality care.
As I anticipated, the work and leadership of Angela Nikolovski, the consultants, clerical support and other key S&N staff, Reina Rivas, Michael Rettagliata, Michael Liberatore, Dr. Rambaran, Alfredo Nadera, Donna Puglia, Jenny Harz, Latesha Edmerson, Shawn Mullins, Dana Migliaccio, Denise Pisaniello, Robert Whitford, the CQI chairpersons and subcommittee members will result in a very favorable outcome.
I also appreciate Rich Ziccardi, Angelo Zecca, Irv DeBois and Ruth Jean-Marie contribution to the process that added another level of perspective that was recognized by the CARF team.
A special thank you to Dr. Rambaran who had a family emergency and his willingness to meet with the CARF surveyor via Doxy.me and Dharmesh Parikh for making us a financially stable institution in spite of the many changes in the field.
Finally, I would like to thank Scott Milliken our CEO for his participation and his explanation of our new organizational structure, this was critical to the understanding of the new Paterson Catholic Charities organization governance.
Although the primary focus of the survey was upon three of our many programs. I am confident now more than ever that all of our programs will be prepared to meet the goal of becoming CARF accredited by 2020.
We will communicate the outcome once it is received.
As I have said many times before, it is a pleasure working with a team that is dedicated to quality care. I thank all of the S&N staff who have directly and indirectly contributed to this process.
Respectfully,
Sam
