Dr. Anna DeMolli’s career spans forty six years in education in various roles. She is presently the Director of Child Education services at Straight and Narrow Inc. Dr. DeMolli attended Montclair State University, Rutgers and Columbia University. She began her career as a teacher in the Paterson school district and served in a number of administrative positions including supervisor of bilingual education, principal and assistant superintendent of early childhood programs.
In her first administrative role as Supervisor of Bilingual Education, Dr. DeMolli brought attention and awareness to the needs of the cultural and language minority community in city of Paterson. In that role, she provided the minority community with support mechanisms in the schools through bilingual education programs and professional role models for children and their families. She perceived her role as one in which to articulate the needs and aspirations of the community and translate those into viable programs.
Dr. De Molli believes young people need role models to inspire them and give them a sense of hope as the changing world challenges our sense of community and well being. As a modern career woman who juggles many roles, Dr. DeMolli claims her greatest source of support and her most avid fans are her husband Bruce, her daughter Bree, son-in-law Olando and her grandchildren, Tyler and Maya.
