Each day, Catholic Charities, Diocese of Paterson, provides help and creates hope for thousands of individuals in need. The health, well-being and safety of our vulnerable service recipients and of our employees is always our top priority.
We have been closely following the developments with regard to coronavirus (COVID-19), since it began to spread globally. We have been working with federal, state, and local officials to learn as much as we can and enact important measures to help save lives, and do our part in stopping the spread of this pandemic.
We recognize that this is an evolving situation, and our action plan will continue to evolve with the changing environment. We assure you that we will work tirelessly to help those most in need.

Catholic Charities, Paterson in the News
"To the entire team out there and everyone you serve, New Jersey thanks you," Governor Murphy said to those at Catholic Charities, Department for Persons with Disabilities (DPD) at his daily briefing on May 13th.
DPD provides help and creates hope for hundreds of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities each day throughout New Jersey.
Volunteers, leadership staff and those who we serve are pictured in the image shared by Governor Murphy reading "We are all in this together so please stay home and help us stop the spread."
We would like to thank Governor Murphy and his team for sharing, our exemplary volunteer Jenn Minervino for orchestrating this project, as well as our service recipients and Direct Service Professionals (DSPs) who took part.

God bless you all!
Here is a message of thanks from the thoughtful adults from the Department for Persons with Disabilities.
Thank you to health care professionals and to all Americans hard at work, during the COVID-19 crisis. We would also like to thank our own Catholic Charities employees on the front lines. Heroes!
Special thanks to DPD volunteer Jenn Minervino who assisted our group homes with this project remotely, as our residents continue to shelter in place.
