March 22, 2021On Friday, March 19th, alongside
Bergen County Veterans Services
and the NJ SOS Veteran Stakeholders we proudly gave back to the
New Jersey National Guard.
We visited soldiers at the Vaccination Mega-site at the Meadowlands. We gave out snacks, refreshments and small tokens of our appreciation, all made possible through donations.
The troops are working diligently to vaccinate over 4,000 people a day! Amazing!
We are proud of their service!
On March 22nd we were featured on Governor Phil Murphy's (Video clip below) press briefing for this act, but all the credit belongs to the NJ National Guard and the healthcare workers alongside them.
We are grateful to our Veterans Program, including David Pearson who wears so many hats for us in the community. We are thankful for our many veterans community partners including the SOS Veteran Stakeholders and Bergen County Veterans Services led by AJ Luna.
