April 11, 2019A Good Samaritan, who wished to remain anonymous, recently donated over 60 care bags to Straight and Narrow.
The kind donor put hours of work into the bags, soliciting local hotels and stores for items to fill the bags with. The bags contain hygiene items including shampoo, conditioner, soaps, razors, lotions, shaving cream and more.
"It inspires me to help others," said the donor. "It really brings a smile to my face to see the difference that this gesture can make in the lives of others."
Straight and Narrow has approximately 250 individuals at their in-patient services at any time. Often, these individuals come in with just the clothing on their back. These care packages will help welcome those who enter the program.
